Role Description
As a Support Engineer 1, you will be responsible for assisting customers with configuration issues, technical questions, and troubleshooting challenges related to Atlassian Cloud products, primarily Loom.
You will act as a trusted technical advisor, ensuring customers receive timely, accurate, and empathetic support. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a logical problem-solving approach, and the ability to perform well in high-pressure or ambiguous situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve customer-reported configuration and technical issues via email and chat
- Ensure all support interactions follow defined processes, SLAs, and quality standards
- Deliver a consistently positive customer experience aligned with Atlassian’s values
- Understand customer use cases to diagnose problems effectively
- Troubleshoot product behavior and identify potential bugs
- Develop and implement temporary workarounds for known issues
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and track complex issues

Required Skills and Technical Knowledge

- Familiarity with AWS services, particularly Amazon S3
- Knowledge of web technologies and browser behavior
Troubleshooting and Debugging
- Hands-on experience using browser DevTools
- Ability to analyze HAR files, caches, cookies, and security settings
- Logical and structured approach to troubleshooting
Networking and DNS
- Understanding of DNS record types such as A, CNAME, TXT
- Ability to apply networking concepts to debug real-world issues
