Job Description – Software Support Engineer
As a Software Support Engineer, you will act as the primary interface between customers and the technical team. Your role involves providing online and offline technical support, diagnosing software and system issues, and ensuring timely resolution for national and international clients.
You will handle support requests via email and phone, investigate reported issues, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Main responsibility is to Provide technical support to clients via email and phone.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve the software-related issues.
- Understand customer problems and gather required technical information.
- Perform troubleshooting / analyze the issue for Windows OS, networking, and databases
- Support remote software installations.
- Able to Manage SQL Server installation and configuration.
- able to Write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries
- Ensure timely response and resolution as per support SLAs
- Work closely with internal technical teams
Required Technical Skills
- knowledge of Windows Operating System troubleshooting
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, Ethernet, LAN/WAN
- Connectivity and network issue diagnosis
- SQL Server administration and database troubleshooting
- Good Ability to write SQL queries
- Experience in remote software installations
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 0–3 years as a Software / Application Support Engineer
- Education:
- B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science or related field
- Have Willingness to work in night shifts
- Ability to handle pressure and customer-facing responsibilities
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Shift Details and Work Schedule
- Work Week: 5 Days
- Weekly Off: Monday & Tuesday
- Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM (IST)
